CHAPMAN GAME 10TH JUNE 2018
We had a field of 130 players with 2 prospectives and 6 guests unfortunately we also had 3 no shows, may I remind you that should you not be able to play please kindly let the match secretary Alison Clark know.
Thank you to those of you who did make it to Chapman. Thank you to Vhusani Bhasera who was the sponsor for this monthly game. We would also like to thank our National Platinum Sponors Glenbrynth, Golden Pilsener and Nyaradzo Life Assurance please kindly support them as they support us.
Unfortunately the Captain of Chapman Justice Udzembwe was unable to play so thank you to his Vice Captain George Mudunga for stepping in on his behalf. To the general manager of Chapman Utah and his team for their hard work that they put into making today possible, Chapman was in great condition.
A special thanks to our ladies who helped at the check in desk on the day Alison, Lyn Alana and Judy thanks once again for everything that you do in making sure that our monthly game runs smoothly without any hiccups this is truly appreciated not only by myself but by all the Mashonaland Noamds.

I was also privileged to hand Corrie Van Rensburg his 500 game badge.
Corrie was inducted at the age of 21 by Doug Pechey in January 1970. Corrie’s membership was proposed by his brother Pete and his sponsors were Teddy Cohen, Ian Crawford and John Houghton. Corrie has been a Nomad for over 48 years and in achieving his 500 game badge he has played an average of 10 games per year.

Our fines master on the night was Doug Jaffray, Doug thank you for an enjoyable fines session even if you did forget most of your fines.
The third round of Gary Player and the second round of Hein Plate has been sent out by Richard Morgan, please kindly make sure that all games are played by the 5th August and results sent to Richard Morgan.
Zambia Nomads will be having their first Charity Day on the 14th July and their monthly game on the 15th July, please gentlemen please let’s show our support to this new club. Natal will be having their 55th Anniversary on the 10th August at Durban Country Club again if you are interested in playing kindly send an email to the National Vice Chairman Clever Chikwari.
We were also graced by young Zimbabwe Junior woman’s golfer Danielle Bekker who has just returned from the European Junior Championship in Scotland where she shot a 71, 76 & 71 to win by 6 shots, well done Danielle Nomads wish you all the best for the future.
